King’s Cross was transforming into one of London’s most exciting new neighbourhoods – but its residential offering needed an identity of its own. While the wider King’s Cross brand carried strong recognition, the new homes required something distinct, something that would speak directly to future residents and position N1C as the place to live in the capital. The challenge was to create a campaign that balanced consistency with the masterbrand while injecting energy, personality and style – all while rolling out seamlessly across the entire site, from wayfinding and hoardings to environmental graphics.

A confident, design-led identity that built on the existing King’s Cross brand foundations, but introduced a bold new tone and visual language. Central to the concept was N1C – the postcode reimagined as a statement of style. In the copy, it became a clever twist that turned the postcode into the message itself. Paired with striking lifestyle imagery and punchy headlines, the campaign captured the spirit of modern city living. From vibrant hoardings and directional signage to immersive environmental graphics, the new look and feel brought a sense of aspiration and identity to London’s newest postcode.
